POLICE are investigating after a man indecently exposed himself to a 10-year-old girl in Redditch.
The man, aged between 55 and 65, committed a lewd act in front of the girl and her friend in Eckington Close, on Thursday, October 6.
The victim was walking home with her friend at around 4pm, when they became aware of a man walking behind them.
When they turned round, they found a man had stopped and proceeded to commit a lewd act in front of them.
Police Constable Joann Junks said: "West Mercia Police treats incidents of indecency with the utmost seriousness.
"While the victims have not been harmed, this has caused them considerable distress.
"We are appealing for any information that may lead us to the identity of the man described, and members of the public are asked to report any information regarding these crimes to us immediately."
The offender is described as a white man, of medium build, around six foot in height with balding, grey hair. At the time of the incident he was wearing blue shorts.
