A CLEOBURY Mortimer man has been charged with historic sex offences, which allegedly took place in Kidderminster in the 1970s.
John Bentham, 69, has been charged with indecent assault on a girl under the age of 16 and indecent assault on a girl under the age of 14.
He has also been charged with two counts of rape of a female under 16 years old.
The charges are in relation to incidents that are reported to have happened in Kidderminster between 1972 and 1974.
He is due to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates Court on Tuesday, November 8.
