A CANNABIS factory in a Quinton house was engulfed in fire this morning (Tuesday).
Fire crews from Woodgate Fire Station and Oldbury Fire Station had to enter the premises which had blocked stairs and five rooms full of cannabis.
The drug farmers had also fiddled with the electricity supply making the property even more dangerous.
The West Midlands Police Cannabis Team tweeted about the fire: "A cannabis factory was discovered by Oldbury and Woodgate Fire Stations at a house fire on Hagley Road West this morning.
"Our pictures show the devastation.
"Thankfully due to the quick response by Oldbury and Woodgate crews the fire was contained, nobody home on entry."
Anyone with any information is urged to phone 101.
