WE are appealing for readers to donate gifts to our annual Shuttle Christmas Gift Appeal – which launched last week.

The Shuttle has joined forces with Home-Start Wyre Forest to spread a little Christmas cheer to youngsters in Wyre Forest who are receiving the charity’s support.

We are asking readers to donate a gift – however big and of whatever value – for a local child aged 0-18.

Gifts can be taken to the Home Start office, in New Road, the Swan Centre Management Suite, a number of Weavers Wharf outlets, Kidderminster Iceland, Courtyard Café, in Lombard Street, Stourport, and Stourport’s TSB branch, in High Street.

Outlets taking part in Weavers Wharf are Boots, Sports Direct, TK Maxx, DW Sports, Savers, TH Baker, McDonalds, Debenhams and Greggs.

Presents will then be distributed to children in Wyre Forest by Home-Start volunteers before Christmas Day.

The Shuttle Christmas Gift Appeal will run until Monday, December 12.
