WOLVES legend Steve Bull made a special appearance in Bewdley as he met fans and signed copies of his new book.

The former England striker was at Riley’s bar in Load Street last Thursday after being invited by his old friend Steve Riley, who now owns the popular town venue.

Mr Riley has been pals with ‘Bully’ since the pair were youngsters growing up in the Black Country.

The Molineux hero signed copies of his book ‘Bully Forever Wolves’ which looks back at his hugely successful career at Molineux.

He then delighted fans further when he took part in ‘An Evening With’ style event in Riley’s’ Lounge Bar.

He said: "It's great to come down to Bewdley for the event.

"Steve and I are old mates so when he asked me to come and do the book signing I did it at the drop of a hat.

"I'm really pleased with the book. It charts 30 years of stories about my time at Wolves and has loads of pictures as well. Hopefully it'll be a good read."

Mr Riley added: “It was a fantastic night and the whole event went very well. Steve was on great form with the fans all night. It was wonderful seeing him again – as soon as he arrived it was just like old times between us.”
