TIME is running out for Wyre Forest residents to take advantage of this year’s Christmas postal service run by Kidderminster and District Scouts.
Then the army of young ‘posties’ will embark on the huge task of sorting hundreds of greetings cards and delivering them to addresses in Kidderminster, Cookley, Wolverley and Blakedown in time for Christmas.
The festive postal service has been running for 25 years and raises vital funds for local Scout groups.
Stamps costing 20p have been going fast from outlets all over the district since they went on sale last month and will be available until 4pm next Friday (December 16).
All postboxes are green and can be found in outlets across the district including Aggborough Newsagents and John Beard Tools in Kidderminster, Wolverley Balloon Shop and Birchen Coppice Post Office.
A full list of locations is available at Kidderminster Town Hall and the library and in a number of shops.
