A STOURPORT petrol station has raised more than £500 to support the annual Shuttle Christmas Gift Appeal.
The Tesco Petrol Station held a fundraising day on December 9, selling cakes and refreshments on the forecourt in return for cash donations. Staff have then used the money raised to buy 150 gifts for the appeal.
The Shuttle works with Home-Start Wyre Forest to donate gifts to children in Wyre Forest receiving the charity's support.
Belinda Darby, Home-Start manager, said: "This is an amazing achievement and we are so grateful to Nicola Gibbs and her team and for every customer who contributed to this fantastic total.
"Christmas can always feel more pressured when there are children in the family and this will enable us to ensure the families in most need have a really special Christmas this year."
