THE massive pile of household goods dumped in a "quiet" cul-de-sac in Tolladine has been removed.
Sofas, a fridge freezer and mattresses were fly-tipped in Mulberry Terrace on Sunday evening.
Fortunately, an eagle-eyed resident spotted the van dumping the waste and has passed on its registration number to Worcester City Council.
The rubbish, which was blocking a parking area for residents, was cleared away yesterday (Monday) afternoon.
A man who lives in the cul-de-sac said he was pleased to see it go - but wants more done to stop repeated fly-tipping in the quiet street.
He added: "The people who did this need to be found and punished."
A city council spokeswoman warned flytippers they would prosecute and would be investigating the dumped goods in Mulberry Terrace to find evidence.
"Fly tipping is a serious offence, and we will not hesitate to prosecute the perpetrators where there is sufficient evidence to do so."
