A KIDDERMINSTER man has appeared in court today (January 30) to face a string of charges following a crash in Bewdley at the weekend.
Police were initially called to reports of a crash in Cleobury Road, in Bewdley, shortly before 10.30pm on Saturday (January 28).
An investigation was launched and a 26-year-old man from Kidderminster was arrested in connection with the incident.
Samuel Phillip Lewis, of Truro Drive, was charged on Sunday (January 29) with burglary dwelling and theft – no violence, robbery, assaulting a person thereby occasioning them actual bodily harm, aggravated vehicle taking, dangerous driving, driving whilst disqualified and using a motor vehicle on a road or public place without third party insurance.
He was set to appear at Worcester Magistrates’ Court today (Monday, January 30).
