WORK has started on a new housing development in Leintwardine.
Saxonby, a Shropshire-based construction firm, is building four, four-bedroom detached bungalows, four three-bedroom, and two four-bedroom detached houses at Plough Meadow.
The development is directly opposite the village's Roman Close development, completed four years ago.
Work on the homes is expected to be finished by November this year.
