A FLAGSHIP fundraiser for a Kidderminster hospice will celebrate a decade by inviting past participants to return to take part.

Kemp Hospice will hold the ladies only event on Saturday, June 17 to help raise thousands for the facility that relies solely on donations and fundraising.

It is the 10th year of the event and anyone who has previously taken part to come back with friends and family to help make it the biggest Midnight Walk yet.

Thousands of women have taken part in the event around the Wyre Forest over the past 10 years and raised more than a quarter of a million pounds to help Kemp provide essential specialist care for patients and their families in the local community.

Shelley Stanley, Challenge & Events Fundraiser at Kemp said: “Midnight Walk is such a fun event. If you have not taken part before please do get a group of friends or colleagues together to support us this year – you’ll have a great time.

“There is live entertainment and a warm up before the walk starts at Midnight and bucks fizz on your return after the walk.

“May I say a huge thank you to everyone who has taken part or helped at this event over the past 10 years, we cannot wait to have another incredible Midnight Walk in June, raising much needed awareness and funds for Kemp.”

Registration is now open online at www.kemphospice.org.uk or people can call the events line on 01562 756077.

Alternatively participants can collect a Registration Form from Kemp Hospice on Mason Road, Kidderminster and all of their retail shops.

The event has already received a boost this year when Oakleaf Commercial Services announced they would support and sponsor the event and committed themselves to a five year charity partnership with Kemp.
