A WOMAN received minor injuries when she crashed a car into a lamppost in Halesowen last night (Monday, October 2).
Emergency services were called to Spies Lane at about 10.10pm yesterday evening following the smash.
A West Midlands Fire Service crew from Oldbury was alerted to the incident and reported that the road also had been closed to deal with the clear up.
A fire service spokesman said: “The incident involved one car in collision with a lamppost. One person in the car had already got themselves out of the vehicle before fire service arrived.”
West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed the woman was in her 20s and suffered minor injuries to her hip and ankles, but she did not want to be taken to hospital so was discharged at the scene.
The incident was left in the hands of West Midlands Police, while Dudley Council’s highways team were also called to the scene due to the damage to the lamppost.
