DETECTIVES are “seriously concerned” for the welfare of a missing man who has not been seen since Christmas Eve.
John Machin, aged 74, from Pershore, was last seen in Fladbury at around lunchtime on Christmas Eve.
His car, a blue Jaguar XF with the registration M2CHN, was found in Bridge Street (B4084) near Pershore.
Detective Inspector David Knight said: “We are seriously concerned for John’s welfare. His family are really struggling to come to terms with his disappearance, which was without any explanation or reason.”
Mr Machin is described as a white man, with short greying hair and wearing glasses.
Anyone with information should contact West Mercia Police on 101 quoting reference 169s of December 28.
Information can also be given to the Missing People Charity on 116 000.
