Legends from West Bromwich Albion and Stourbridge FC will face off in a Question of Sport evening to raise money for charity.

They will compete at the War Memorial Ground, Amblecote, on April 5, in aid of Mary Stevens Hospice.

Featuring for Team WBA will be former player and current first-team coach Darren Moore, 90’s promotion-hero Ian Hamilton, former full back James Chambers and goalkeeping coach Mark Naylor.

On Team Stourbridge will be manager Gary Hackett, chairman Andy Pountney, assistant manager Jon Ford, captain Matt Webb and former player Craig Slater.

Tickets are £8 and include fish and chips.

Amanda Bowen, Mary Stevens Hospice Event Organiser said: "All 10 players have been generous in donating their time and the result will be a fantastic event for football fans."

Matt Webb, Stourbridge FC Team Captain, said: “To have an event like this in our area is a wonderful thing.

"We don't like to lose, especially on our home turf, so you can expect it to get very competitive.”

The Question of Sport evening will be the first event of a four-day football festival culminating in the annual charity match on April 8.
