TOBY is a 10-year-old black labrador who came into the care of RSPCA Worcester & Mid-Worcestershire Branch after his owner died.

Sadly no-one in the family is able to take Toby on, so he is looking for a new retirement home where he will get lots of love and company.

Geraldine Haynes, branch trustee, said: "Toby is a friendly, affectionate boy who just wants a home to call his own and someone to love him again.

"Toby is no trouble at all and would be a loyal, loving companion.

He is housetrained, neutered and microchipped."

Please ring Geraldine on 01886 822083 if you feel you could help Toby.

Visit the branch website for more rescued animals seeking their forever homes at rspca-worcester.org or call Geraldine on the number above for dogs.

For cats and rabbits, please ring The Holdings Rescue & Rehoming Centre on 07484 905707 or to meet the cats and rabbits for adoption, visit the centre in Holdings Lane, Broomhall, near Worcester WR5 3FP any day (except Wednesdays) between 11am and 4pm. Dogs are not on site yet and continue to be boarded at private kennels.

The branch's open day was a success on Sunday, despite afternoon rain bringing the event to an early finish.

Mrs Haynes said: "Quite a few people came along and saw our new rabbit house, so it was well worth doing."
