A DUDLEY park will host a free family fun day this weekend.

Buffery Summer in the Park will run from 11am to 5pm on Saturday, July 21.

Activities on offer include a dog show, live wrestling, classic car display, table top sales and fairground rides.

There will also be live music, including performances from Far Forest and Peter Hackett.

The event has been organised and funded by the Friends of Buffery Park.

Group chairman, Stephen Briscoe, said: “We believe community events add real value to local people’s lives there is no political agenda here - it’s about people coming and having a good afternoon out on the park. Everybody is welcome."
