A MAN in his 20s has been taken to hospital after a witness said he threatened to jump out of a window in a Hereford street.
Police and the ambulance service were called this lunchtime to Widemarsh Street.
Witness Matt Bethell said the man was brought down safely by police and taken away in an ambulance after 45 minutes. He praised the emergency services for their response.
An ambulance spokeswoman said: "We were called at 12.49pm. One ambulance and a paramedic officer attended, along with police.
"We have treated and conveyed a man in his 20s to Hereford County Hospital for further treatment."
A police spokeswoman said: "The male had a medical episode and was taken to hospital."
