POLICE arrested a man and seized drugs and suspected stolen property following a raid on a Kidderminster property.
Officers from West Mercia Police, alongside housing officials executed a drugs warrant at Masefield Gardens yesterday (Tuesday, August 7) morning.
They detained three men inside the address and recovered suspected controlled substances and property that is believed to have been stolen.
One man was arrested and is currently being questioned by police.
Inspector Jake Wright, of Wyre Forest said a notice of eviction was also served on the tenant following persistent anti-social behaviour and drug dealing.
He said: “In Wyre Forest we recognise the devastating impact problem premises can have on a community.
“We simply won’t accept drug dealing and anti-social behaviour that affects the quality of life of others and will continue to work hard to come down hard on those who choose to make others people’s lives a misery.”
Last week, officers shut down a drugs den at 155 Park Street after obtaining a court order that bans anyone from entering the house until October.
This followed a string of complaints from worried residents who had been plagued by issues at the address for a number of months.
