A PIE eating competition, barbecue, face painting and more will greet revellers at a charity fun day at a Finstall pub.

The Cross Inn on Alcester Road is holding the event on Bank Holiday Monday, August 27, from midday.

The pub hopes to raise around £500 for Primrose Hospice through stalls and a raffle.

Licensee Ryan Carr said: "The Primrose Hospice have been chosen because I’ve seen first hand the fantastic work they do.

"The care given to a loved one in their dying days was second to none and that is priceless."

There will also be a local produce stall, cake stall, glitter tattoos, and penalty shootout competition.

Donations for the local produce stall, cake stall and raffle prizes will be great fully received and can be dropped in to the pub or via Ryan on 01527 577 328.
