A HOST of dazzling flowers and plants will be on display when a horticultural fair is held in Wolverley next month.

The autumn Plant Hunter’s Fair will take place at Bodenham Arboretum on Saturday, September 1 from 10am to 4pm.

The event will feature a number of nurseries showcasing flowers and plants that will help keep residents’ gardens looking at their best throughout autumn.

Martin Blow of Plant Hunters’ Fairs said: “It’s been a fab summer and we’ve all been making the most of our outdoor space.

“Now’s the time to pick up some late flowering plants to perk up our beds and borders and fill the garden with scent.

“There will be a wonderful line-up of nurseries with something for everyone and every garden. The nursery folk all grow their plants themselves, so they can offer advice on choosing the best for your particular garden to keep it looking good into the autumn”

Entry to the plant fair and parking is free and the Lakeside restaurant will be open serving hot and cold drinks, lunches and snacks using produce from the arboretum’s own farm.

Anyone wishing to explore the 156-acre arboretum, there is a separate charge.
