ONE of the most well-known Good Friday choral songs will be performed at a Blackheath church next week.
Sir John Stainer’s ‘Crucifixion’ can be heard sung by the assembled choir of St Paul’s Church, in Long Lane, this Good Friday (March 30) at 7.30pm.
A spokesman for the church said: “St Paul’s congregation and visitors look forward each year to the church’s Good Friday choral offering, and Sir John’s ‘Crucifixion’ will inspire singers and all who listen alike.”
Admission to the event is free.
