CHRISTMAS shoppers will be able to park for free at all Wyre Forest District Council car parks after 4pm in the run up to the festive period.
The 'Free Christmas Parking after 4pm' offer will run from Saturday, November 18, through until Sunday, December 31.
November 18, marks the start of the district's Christmas light "switch on" events - starting with Kidderminster town centre. Stourport's light switch on takes place on Friday, November 24, followed by Bewdley's on Saturday, December 2.
Councillor Rebecca Vale, cabinet member for operational services, said: "We are delighted to once again offer residents and shoppers in Wyre Forest free parking after 4pm.
"Our aim is to encourage residents to shop locally and also attract shoppers in from outside the district.
"There is a lot going on in our town centres over the festive season and I hope as many people as possible come along and join in."
Shoppers and residents should collect a free ticket from the machine and display clearly in vehicles when using the free parking incentive.
