A REDDITCH firm recently held a week-long event (named Work Happy Week) to encourage staff to enjoy what they do and understand the benefits of an enjoyable working environment.
Members of Workforce Staffing at the firm’s Church Green West branch ran a variety of competitions, candidate workshops, and group activities on happiness and combatting stress.
The message they wanted to get across was getting the right help and knowing where to go.
Workforce CEO Paul Alekna, said: “It’s no secret that a happy workforce is a productive workforce but it’s very easy to forget this and for all of us to sometimes neglect the need to not only have a job, but to enjoy it as well.
"Everything from stress at home to lacking the right training to progress at work can all play its part."
