PRESCRIPTION medication was stolen from a hospital patient's house.
Burglars raided a house in Eckington, near Pershore, which was reported to police on Tuesday evening.
Detective inspector David Knight said: "We're in contact with the householder to discuss the ongoing investigation but wanted to take this opportunity to remind local people what to do in case they come across any medication that appears to have been discarded.
"Don't handle any items that look like drugs or medication - there could be sharps or other health hazards among them.
"Make sure to keep children and animals well away. Then contact your local council to ask how the items can be safely disposed of."
