ROADWORKS on the M5 are due to start at the end of the month and will continue until Spring 2019.
A 30mph speed restriction will be in place on the J6 (Worcester) roundabout and its approaching roads and a 50mph limit will be in place on the stretch of M5 in both northbound and southbound directions.
Highways England says it is working on the road between junction 5 and junction 7 to improve the journey for thousands of motorists as well as improve safety and support economic growth.
Restrictions will be in place before the main work begins on April 30, including:
• One lane will be closed on M5 northbound between J5 (Bromsgrove) and J4a until Monday, April 30.
• Two lanes will be closed on M5 southbound between J4a (Redditch) and J5 (Droitwich) from 9pm to 6am on April 11 to 13.
