A COFFEE morning held for residents of Broadway's Leedons Park saw them not only don Easter bonnets but also raise funds for Evesham's Bell Tower appeal.
Each month a coffee morning takes place at the park, organised by Sue Chambers, and the events have gone from strength to strength since they began six years ago.
On Good Friday around 70 people attended the coffee morning and raised £225.
They were also visited by appeal committee chairman, Sue Ablett, who said a few words about the progress of the campaign.
For Dr Ablett it was an opportunity to update on progress, but also to invite residents to get in touch to organise a group visit to the Bell Tower Ringing Chamber, where Ringing Master, Chris Povey, is always keen to show interested groups around.
