THE annual Candlelit Carol Service will take place at Throckmorton Chapelry next Tuesday, December 23.
The mayor of Pershore, councillor Tony Rowley, the vice chairman of Wychavon District Council, Cllr Val Wood and other civic dignitaries will be amongst those capturing the spirit of Christmas at the service starting at 6.30pm.
Families of all ages are encouraged to join in the seasonal festivities in the 13th century rural church, which has no electricity and is traditionally lit entirely by gas-lamps and candles.
