THE Easter bunny has arrived at an Evesham opticians - in the form of a chocolate egg.

The giant chocolate rabbit has taken up residence at Specsavers, in Bridge Street, Evesham and people visiting the store can be in with the chance of taking it home by entering a raffle in aid of the Tracy Sollis Leukaemia Trust.

The trust was founded by Sue Sollis on the death of her daughter from leukaemia and works tirelessly in the Evesham Vale area to raise thousands of pounds each year to support both research into the disease and to help those suffering with it.

Amy Liau, store director at Specsavers in Evesham, said they were pleased to support the charity.

"We’re delighted the Easter bunny has chosen to visit us early, although having that much chocolate in store is really testing our will power.

"We’d encourage people to pop down and take part in the raffle, not only for the chance to win this fantastic chocolate treat, but also in the knowledge that they’ll be supporting such an important cause."

Tickets are available in strips of five, for a suggested donation of £1, with all proceeds going to the Tracy Sollis Leukaemia Trust.

The raffle will be drawn on Saturday, April 4.
