THREE young entrepreneurs from Chipping Campden School donated profits from their home-baking business venture to Dogs Trust Evesham.
Alice Parr, Maisie Cattanach and Annabel Braso, all year 8 students, took part in the ‘Make Your Mark with a Tenner’ programme, aiming to turn £10 into a profit by organising a cake sale.
The girls spent several hours baking, crafting and decorating a variety of cakes, cookies, brownies and biscuits and then braved sub-zero temperatures, plus a few flakes of snow to sell their goods.
The Dog sTrust was their chosen charity and a cheque for £75.50 was presented to Chris Slight, Evesham’s Dogs Trust centre manager.
In recognition of their support, Mr Slight presented the girls with Donation Certificates and a comprehensive tour of the recently transformed rehoming centre.
