A MAN who was last seen leaving a hotel in Callow End may have been spotted in the Withington area of Herefordshire.

Renewing their appeal, police said Matthew Bone, who was previously described as 'high risk', has been reported missing by his family.

The 26-year-old enjoys walking and was thought to have been in the Malvern Hills area on Thursday, March 8 before spending time in Callow End on Friday, March 9.

Police have now received new information which suggests he may be in the Withington area.

Officers believe he may be sleeping rough or may have been offered accommodation.

Mr Bone is described as white, around 5ft7ins, of slim build, with brown hair and blue/grey coloured eyes.

It is not known what he was wearing at the time of his disappearance.

Police said Mr Bone's family are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare and are asking anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward.

Mr Bone is originally from Portsmouth but is known to have travelled up to the Midlands recently.

Officers are urging people to check any outbuildings or sheds in their gardens as they try to locate Matthew.

Anyone who sees Matthew or has any information about his whereabouts is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101 quoting incident number 410S of 11 March or the Missing People Charity on 116 000.
