A NEW coffee morning held in Hallow has proved a big success.
A pop up cafe was held at Hallow Sports and Social Club, in The Green, Hallow, on Friday, April 6.
The event is being funded through a Malvern Hills District Council community grant, supported by county councillor Phil Grove and district councillor Dean Clarke who went along to the first event.
Joy Fulcher, secretary to Hallow Village Community Group, said: "This latest venture aimed to bring the community together in the week and such was its success that it has been decided to continue it by holding one every month.
"The next big event is the Hallow Country Fair on June 3. This will be the sixth to date, which each year gets bigger and better and attracts huge crowds from all over the county.
"This will be partly funded by a quality jumble sale being held on the June 12 in the village hall."
The club's website is at hvcg.org.uk.
