MARRIED at St Ecqwins Church, Honeybourne, by Bishop Humphrey Taylor was Matthew Stanley Day, only son of Roy and Linda Day of Silves, Portugal (originally Honeybourne) and Kirsty Jane Matthews, only daughter of Barry & Sylvia Matthews of Honeybourne.
Given away by her father the bride wore an ivory dress with chiffon overlay decorated with crystal beads and sequins and carried a bouquet of ivory roses, freesias and alstroemerias.
She was attended by Vicki Bannister and Julie Evans the brides best friends and Archie Bannister, four months old, was the pageboy. The best man was Ashley Holdstock the grooms best friend.
Following the reception at The Vale Golf and Country Club the couple spent their honeymoon is Lisbon, Portugal and then America later in the year.
