ARDEN hosted the third race in their autumn handicap series with a large fleet gathering at sunny Defford.
Leaving his challenge until late on, Keith Stevens got across the finishing line just ahead of Malcolm Colledge with both in Comets.
But neither could beat first placed Ralph Evans (Solo) or David Bryden (Heron) who was just knocked into second spot on handicap.
