MEMBERS of Evesham Swimming Club achieved 16 county qualifying times and 59 personal best times at the Northgate PB Buster Open in Wolverhampton.

Fourteen competitors flew the flag for Evesham with Ben Harris recording four personal bests (PBs) in seven of his events in the 14 to 15- year-old category.

Luke Perry achieved five county times, a silver in 100- metres freestyle and two bronzes in the 100m backstroke and 50m backstroke, as well as an eight PBs.

Kieran Cooper recorded four county times, a gold in 200m backstroke, silver in the 200m freestyle and bronze in 50m backstroke, with five PBs along the way.

Ben McKenna registered eight PBs from nine events.

Macey French, aged nine, achieved two county times in the 50m freestyle and 200m freestyle, a silver medal in the 50m freestyle and PBs in all five events she entered.

Holly Langston claimed two PBs as did 10-year-old sister Sophie.

Amy Cooper achieved three county times in the 11-yearold section along with a silver medal in the 400m freestyle and six PBs.

Beth Carter recorded two county times in the 50m breastroke and 100m breastroke, both in the 12 to 13- year-old division.

Other swimmers with new PBs were Thomas Perry, Toby Vale and Emily West, Martha Bailey and Emelia Lambert.
