LITTLETON Colts Under 12s will have a particularly merry Christmas after winning their first game for almost two years.
It took 40 fixtures but Colts beat local rivals Badsey Rangers 1-0 at home in Ambassador Evesham League Pool āCā.
Littleton struggled to find enough bodies to start the season but now have a squad of 13 with some playing football for the first time.
Seven minutes in against Badsey, Matt Hawkins split the defence and George McNally slotted the ball home.
Tommy Whyley, Josh Green and captain Sam Martin ensured Badsey were restricted to a couple of chances.
