CONDICOTE trainer Martin Keighley celebrated a quickfire double at potentially Hereford’s last race meeting.
Ukrainian Star (13-2) and Seymour Eric (4-1 secondfavourite) were led home by Irish jockey Alain Cawley in the last two races.
Hereford were possibly staging their last meeting unless the racecourse is saved from the brink.
Keighley said: “It’s a local track to me, well run and it's sad to see it go.”
Another who would miss Hereford is Chipping Norton’s Charlie Longsdon who claimed his fourth win of the campaign through No No Bingo (4-1 joint-favourite).
“We’re about 50 per cent from runners this season and last,” he said.
Even If (7-2 joint-favourite) won for Cotswold trainer Jonjo O’Neill at Bangor last week, while Nigel Twiston- Davies’ Red Rouble (8-1) was second behind Plein Pouvoir (12-1) at Cheltenham.
