PERSHORE Town Football Club hope for a boost to the coffers and their community profile with three consecutive home games.
The King George V Playing Field hosts Stafford Town on Saturday (3pm), third-placed Bromsgrove Sporting on Boxing Day (12.30pm) and Pelsall Villa on December 29 (3pm).
Well-supported Bromsgrove’s visit is a highlight with potential for several hundred fans and the kickoff time allows for the Pershore Hunt.
Town chairman Damien Rourke said: “There should be a lot of interest because it’s a derby and they are a good team.”
Pershore are third-frombottom but Rourke added: “Manager Gary (Aldington) and his assistants Andrew (Rogers) and Neil (Annis) are bringing the young lads through which is what we wanted. We are trying to make it a proper club again.”
