Lucky 13 seals semi place in Bluck Cup

AMBASSADOR reached the Birdseye Sports Evesham Sunday League’s Bluck Cup last four with a comprehensive 13-0 victory over neighbours Ambi Allsports.

The goals came from Cole (6), Shepherd (3), Stevens (2), Marshall and Keay as they secured a home semi-final with Dragons or Tewkesbury Town.

Bear returned to the top of Division Two with a comfortable 12-1 win at Cider Mill and they are still involved in four cup competitions.

Phil Davies scored five with further goals from Haughty (3), Smith (3) and Smith- Daniel, while Cider Mill netted a consolation through Faulkner.

WMK players spent Saturday sweeping the snow off the 3G pitch at Tewkesbury School and were rewarded by earning a 5-3 victory in their local derby with Bredon.

Deeming and Sklenaar put WMK in front before Cother and Carroll levelled at the interval for Bredon.

Sklenaar and Deeming struck again along with an own goal before Diamond netted a late penalty for Bredon.

The rest of the league fixtures were postponed due to the snow.
