New season preparations

COTSWOLD Hills League Premier Division champions Bretforton are busy preparing for the new season.

They have arranged net sessions at Evesham Cricket Centre and anyone interested in joining them are welcome.

The club run first and second teams in the league on Saturdays as well as entering the National Village Knockout Cup which they were area winners in during last season.

Fundraising events are well under way with the next being their annual quiz night with home-made faggot supper provided by club chairman Denis Stanley and his wife Carol.

It will be at Bretforton Sports Club on Saturday, February 2, at 8pm and more details are available from Bretforton club captain Adrian Witts at the venue on (01386) 833410.
