UNBEATEN Stow-on-the- Wold Rugby Club’s titlechasers finally met their match as snow prevented any action last weekend.
The Berks/Bucks and Oxon Premier Division home clash with Hungerford was postponed and Saturday’s trip to fifth-placed Littlemore (2.30pm) is also at the mercy of the elements.
Stow head the table by eight points from Chipping Norton who have no league game this weekend following last Saturday’s postponement at Bicester.
Meanwhile, Stow players Tom Lushington, Ollie Thorley and Will Goodrich-Clarke turned out for Gloucester under 18s in a 33-15 win over Worcester.
Loosehead Goodrick-Clark ran in from 40 metres to score his second try in as many matches.
- After last weekend’s postponements, Winchcombe Town are due to host Gala Wilton on Saturday (2pm).
