CROOME Hunt Pony Club got the 2013 season off to a flying start at the WH Triathlon in Swindon.
Emily Turner won the 10 to 11-year-old girls’ competition convincingly, taking best shoot in the competition with 960, hitting all bulls bar two shots. She secured the best swim in her category with a personal best of 131 metres in two minutes as Croome took the team victory.
Robert Saunders won the eight to nine-year-old boys’ section and was awarded the best shoot with 800.
He achieved the best run in his section, completing the 1,000m track in four minutes 50 seconds, with his team finishing second.
