BRETFORTON made it six consecutive West Clubs Women’s League North Division wins with a 4-1 triumph at BAC.

The table-toppers looked out-of-sorts for the first 15 minutes but the Bristol hosts could not capitalise.

Strikers Deb Slatter and Sarah Hall went close at the other end before player-ofthe- match Liz Murray-White rode several tackles and squared for Julie Hall to score.

Bretforton squandered numerous chances but their stalwart defence kept BAC at bay with Kate Mitchell and Sue Headington making crucial interventions.

Great work between Lisa Workman and Hayley Whitehouse saw the latter blast the ball high into the net from close range.

BAC took advantage of lapse defending to make it 2-1 but a trademark finish from Workman retained the twogoal cushion.

Whitehouse provided a touch of class when her flick over the goalkeeper from the narrowest of angles that went in.

Bretforton have scored 14 goals in their last four league games and can make it seven wins in a row when they travel to Cheltenham Civil Service on Saturday.
