EVESHAM United Juniors’ frustration at not playing since December 8 was taken out on Pershore Town with a 10-0 win in Ambassador Evesham League Under 14s Pool ‘A’.
The visitors started better but Evesham took over to lead 3-0 at half-time through Josh Mclenan, Ben Ainsworth and Adam Ayres.
They stepped up their game in the second-half with James Noble, George Robinson’s fine solo effort, Will Price, Jake Humphries, Jacob Andrews, John Robinson and Mclenan adding to the scoreline.
In Under 12s Pool ‘C’, Badsey Rangers could not compl ete the double over Droitwich Tigers, losing 2-1.
Keeper Tom Linley, Josh Sellick, Ben Holland and player-of-the-match Connor Knibbs shone in defence as they withstood an early onslaught.
Rangers took the lead on eight minutes through Alfredo Botella La Grange after Owain Hann hit the post but Tigers responded quickly and bagged a last-minute winner against the run of play.
Evesham United Robins won 4-1 at Charlton Rovers in Cheltenham Youth League Under 14s Division One.
The visitors struggled in the first-half and fell behind but they made changes for the second period.
Bradley Izod levelled with a fine run and shot before George Robinson netted a penalty followed by strikes from Dominic Taylor and Izod.
