CHIPPING Norton driver Alice Powell is ready for this weekend’s final rounds of the MRF Racing Series in Chennai, India.
Powell is third in the standings, 32 points off championship leader Jordan King and 27 behind second-placed Conor Daly.
Current Formula Two champion Luciano Bacheta is only one point behind Powell in fourth.
The final two races will be at the newly-renovated Madras circuit with large crowds expected.
Powell, sponsored by Renault for the series, is looking forward to the challenge of the title fight.
The 20-year-old, who was the first female points scorer in the GP3 Series, said: “I cannot wait. I am really looking forward to getting back on track.
“It will be a tough fight but I have kept up my winter training at Lotus F1 and just need to focus now.”
