DUMBLETON youngsters have been involved in the Gloucestershire Emerging Players Programme during the winter.

Will Sharp and Danielle Gibson enjoyed intensive coaching and fitness training with the under 14s players in Bristol.

Sharp, a promising allrounder who has played at Dumbleton since the age of three, has captained Gloucestershire both the under 11s and 12s over the past two seasons.

Gibson, whose father is one of 12 qualified coaches at the club, has been part of the club since her early years.

Others involved in the county programme include Oliver Forbes who captained the county under 13s and won an award for scoring a faultless century in 2012.

Dumbleton’s Daniel Holland has gained a place with Worcestershire under 11s.
