WINCHCOMBE Town’s fight against relegation from Gloucestershire Northern Senior League Division One suffered a blow with a 3-0 defeat at fellow strugglers Lydbrook Athletic.

They are now second-from bottom ahead of Saturday’s home derby with seventh placed Bredon (3pm).

Bourton Rovers romped to a fine 3-0 victory at Tuffley Rovers Reserves in Division Two, while Moreton Rangers lost 2-1 at home to Minsterworth in a battle of the titlechasers with Jon Neale scoring.

Fourth-placed Moreton go to Longford on Saturday and Bourton host mid-table rivals Real Whaddon (both 3pm).
