Teams in meeting ahead of new term

AN entry of 43 teams is expected at the South Warwickshire and District Summer League annual meeting.

It will be held next Tuesday from 7.30pm at Bidford Bowling Club, Salford Road, Bidford- on-Avon.

The men’s doubles competition remains at six divisions and will also involve a charity cup final on September 1 between the summer and winter champions with £100 going to a good cause.

A junior league operates for a ninth season with a record 24 from 15 clubs divided into six pools.

All clubs wishing to compete must send a representative to the meeting and the league are looking for a new sponsor.
