Minor Cup exit for Bear as Price strikes

BIRDSEYE Sports Evesham Sunday League Division Two title favourites Bear bowed out of the Worcestershire FA Minor Cup semi-finals.
Ben Price gave Worcester outfit Brewers Athletic a 1-0 victory in Evesham.
Meanwhile, for the first time since November, all scheduled league fixtures survived the weather, including the twice-postponed Express- Funding Mick Godwin Cup first-round tie between Tesco United and Pebworth.
Tesco won 5-1 thanks to goals from Meredith, Ford, Kerr, Holden and McCall.
Pinvin United reached the last eight with Bellamy (3) and Izod (2) scoring in a 5-3 victory over Fladbury Athletic, while Brain netted twice in reply.
