Leaders Stow run riot again

ARCTIC conditions could not prevent Stow-on-the-Wold Rugby Club winning 30-0 at Gosford All Blacks in the Berks/Bucks and Oxon Premier.

The table-toppers increased their lead to 18 points over Chipping Norton who lost 47-3 at Swindon College Old Boys.

Gosford paid the price for kicking the ball away with Ted Holmes then weaving through and James Holmes scoring an unconverted try.

Stow led 15-0 at half-time with tries from James and Ted Holmes with both teams having a player sin-binned for fighting.

In the second period, Matt Green darted over for a fourth score, then Lewis Chapman went over.

Ted Holmes bagged the final try with a sixth conversion missed, before the match was stopped four minutes from time due to a serious injury
