EVESHAM under nines have been invited to play in the London Irish St Patrick’s Festival on Saturday.
A squad of 12 players will compete at the University of Reading before watching Worcester Warriors’ Premiership tie with the Exiles at the Madejski Stadium in Reading.
The winners of each age group will form a guard of honour to the players and have a half-time photo opportunity.
- Evesham under eights kept up their momentum as the Lions and Tigers sides faced Stow-on-the-Wold.
Tigers led the way with a 6-4 win and 10-10 draw as Will Farr, Freddie Sharpe, player-of-the-day Abi Lacy and Ronan Dooey were among the try-scorers.
Joint players-of-the-day Tommy Boorman and Edward Thompson scored 15 of Lions’ 20 tries during one win and a 14-10 defeat.
Max Moulder, Rowan Snell and Dan Lee also dived over.
